Who We Are

Introducing Lana Carroll

Lana Carroll was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and resides there with her husband and their four children.  She grew up around construction because her dad was an architect and builder.  He taught her how to draw a horse when she was about 8 years old, and her passion for anything creative was born.  She says it was like he had a super power to bring anything to life.  Throughout her grown up years, she put away her “childish” gifts and later began drawing and painting again for her children’s t-ball teams.  Unexpectedly, that took off through the years, and she has become known around east Louisville for her “game balls” which have been commissioned from many in the state.  With that spark relit, Lana eventually tapped into her creativity again and set out on a mission to surround herself with beauty.

Drawing inspiration from her Mamaw Jones from London, Kentucky, Lana aspires to create living spaces that are comfortable and welcoming as well as unique to each individual situation.  She staged her first home when she and her husband were selling their first home in a difficult market and for the same amount as other more desirable markets.  Told they would never get the amount they wanted, Lana was determined to prove everyone wrong, and she did.  That is when she learned the importance of staging.

She furthered her knowledge by attending class in Nashville, Tennessee with the nationally acclaimed Kristie Barnett of The Decorologist®. There, Lana earned her certification as an Expert Psychological Stager (EPS™), an approved training course of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® and an affiliate training course of the Real Estate Staging Association®, and later became certified in paint color as a Psychological Color Expert (PCE™).  She is a member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and is also a REALTOR® serving Louisville and the surrounding areas in Kentucky.

While Lana has a passion for anything creative whether it’s painting, drawing, writing, etc., she says her purpose in life is to give back to people that have been “unloved” in life.  She served the women in the local prison, and she serves the foster kids at a local foster care facility that focuses on children who have faced trauma.  Her motto is “Love Hard.”  And you will find that carries through her entire life.
